Vertical Precision Lathe
A vertical precision lathe is a high-accuracy CNC machining system featuring a vertically oriented spindle and a horizontally rotating worktable. The workpiece is mounted on the rotary table, while cutting tools perform turning operations through vertical and horizontal feed movements. This configuration is primarily used for rough and finish machining of large, heavy, disc-shaped, and hub-type components, offering high automation, stable machining accuracy, and high production efficiency.

- Vertical Structural Layout: With the workpiece clamped in a vertical orientation, the gravity direction is aligned with the clamping direction, effectively preventing deformation caused by self-weight in large components. This results in superior clamping stability compared to horizontal lathes.
- High-Precision Machining: Positioning accuracy reaches 0.005-0.01mm, with repeat positioning accuracy ≤0.003mm, meeting precision machining requirements for faces, inner diameters, and outer diameters of disc-type components.
- Highly Automated Operation: Supports multi-process compound machining, including turning, milling, drilling, boring, and tapping. An optional automatic tool changer (ATC) enables unattended continuous operation, significantly reducing process transfer time.
- Heavy-Duty Machining Capability: The worktable load capacity ranges from several tons to several hundred tons. Workpieces with diameters exceeding 10m can be machined, making the system suitable for large-scale components in industries such as metallurgy and wind power.
- Flexible CNC Control: Multiple sets of machining parameters can be stored within the CNC system, allowing rapid program switching for different workpiece specifications and supporting small-batch, high-mix production requirements.
